Our Simple, Time-Tested Process
1
Let’s open the conversation about your project via email or phone and determine if we may be the right company for your project. Three things will be clarified before we schedule a site visit – project ideas (including quality level), budget, and your preferred timeline.
2
Following a positive outcome from our Initial Consultation, we will schedule an Onsite Meeting. We’ll review your property and offer any insights or suggestions we can while determining the best course of action. This meeting takes about an hour, and we’re happy to field any questions you may have and make suggestions based on our 40 years in construction.
3
If all goes well at our meeting we will provide you with our “Assumption of Probable Costs”. This document is based on your quality level, budget and timeline, making “assumptions” as to where we think pricing could go based on our discussion. At this point you are invited to explore pricing and vetting other contractors and basically decide if Corey-Built is the right contractor for you.
4
Our “Assumption of Probable Costs” will likely come with a Design Agreement. Once you have selected Corey-Built as your contractor, sign the agreement, provide a deposit, and we will start the process of bringing your home improvement dream into a reality!
5
At this point the design is fully priced out using “real-time” estimates from our experienced and vetted trades and vendors, using current pricing from their suppliers. This creates the most accurate “ready for construction” proposal. Should the plans need to be modified, adjustments and concessions are made and a final revised proposal is created. Once our construction agreement is signed, we go to permit.
6
Once the permits are received the project is scheduled and work begins. You, the client, are kept informed throughout the process as to schedule, selection deadlines, option approvals and any changes requiring a change order, priced and approved by you before the work is performed.
