We can construct the perfect addition to fit the architectural design of your existing structure.

A well planned home addition will provide the desired additional space needed as well as adding value to your home. Home additions are a great way to invest in a home while adding amenities and space a family needs. Addition projects can include adding space to a kitchen, bathroom, bedroom or family room. Additions are becoming more popular as homeowners decide to remain in their homes rather than selling and buying a new home. Having a contractor that can manage your vision, permitting and keeping the whole project on time and within budget is a big challenge.

At Corey-Built, we understand that when it comes to adding space onto your home, there is a lot of information out there and it can be difficult to make sense of it. One of the things we enjoy most about what we do is the opportunity to educate homeowners so they can make the most informed decisions about remodeling or adding onto their homes. Ultimately, we want you to have as much information as possible so you can be comfortable knowing that you are making the best possible decisions for your home and your family.

Contractor of the Year

Home Addition for Kitchen

Here we feature an addition that earned us “Contractor of The Year” from a national organization, encompassing an amazing kitchen within the confines of the traditional Bucks County exterior. Real stone salvaged from the property creates solid visual base from which the cedar clapboard and wood shake roof rest. The cupola, a playful addition adds light into the interior and supports a chandelier (not shown) that centers over the kitchen island.

1690 Stone Home

Historic Home Addition Front

This project shows an addition with features that’s really more “new home” as only the original 1690 stone home (shown left below) remains. Centered in 168 acres of preserved farmland, the 4000sf “addition” was designed by Philadelphia architect Spence Kass of Kass & Associates.

This home also included a completely revised landscape designed by Charles Hess & Associates Landscape Architects featuring a manmade waterfall with creek, bluestone walks, retaining walls, pool, fire pit and many other features.

All-Season Enclosed Porch

Home Addition as Renovation for 3 Season Room

Next is another home addition project. This classic rendition of a Bucks County enclosed porch was designed by us to take in the amazing views. It features French windows (no cranks), bluestone flooring, a wood burning masonry chimney (not shown) and is the perfect place for an afternoon iced tea in summer or to watch the snow fall over the farms many acres and creek in the winter.

Adding More Livable Space

Home Addition for Great Room Exterior

Additions to your home can give you more room, a place for everyone and everything and extend the years you plan to stay in your home. Notice the simple but functional addition of a great room with second floor primary bedroom. Looking to stay in this home, the owners wanted a space to entertain and relax both while they’re currently working and into retirement.

The interior is perfect for their lifestyle- relaxed, informal, comfortable. Whimsical antique “barn doors” sourced by us from a local historic architectural salvage business function and will close to block out late afternoon light if desired. Other fun features out of the screen include a wet bar made by us from a hutch the owners purchased and a bathroom with a countertop set basin again made from antique furniture.
