Get to know Doylestown.
In 1745, William Doyle, an Irish settler, obtained a license to build a tavern, then known as William Doyle’s Tavern, on what is now the northwest corner of Dyers Road and Coryell’s Ferry Road at present-day Main and State Streets. The tavern’s strategic location at the intersection of the junction at present-day U.S. Route 202, linking Norristown and New Hope and Pennsylvania Route 611, linking Philadelphia and Easton, contributed to Norristown’s early growth. The history of Doylestown from the 18th through 20th centuries is rather extensive. We encourage you to learn all about the history, in addition to the many reason to work and live here by The Borough of Doylestown Website here.

Pre-Revolution Farmhouse
The pictures above are from Doylestown neighboring Buckingham. It features one of the classic pre-revolution stone farmhouses that Bucks County Pennsylvania is known for. From it’s fieldstone walls to the hand-split shakes on the roof, this home typifies the type of properties we love to renovate and restore.
Custom Kitchen Remodel
This beautiful kitchen, placed within the addition designed and built by our team, is the quintessential farmhouse-style kitchen. Locally artisan crafted cabinetry, offsets the open feel and inviting style of the space including the cathedral ceiling and reclaimed ceiling timbers.
All-Seasons Sitting Room
The next project was completed in the vicinity of Doylestown showing a sitting room perfect for a morning coffee. Flagstone flooring, French casements and masonry wood burning fireplace to take the chill off on cool fall mornings. Designed and built by our team at Corey-Built.
Glamorous Bathroom
Doylestown has its own unique appeal, and we cater to understanding how our customers wish all their remodeling needs are met. In this next remodeling project, we share an opulent primary bathroom. Marble surfaces and intricate tile floor are graceful appointments within the soft colors and curved shapes of the space. Historic restoration doesn’t have to mean rustic, and this bathroom, in a stone home set on 160 acres of preserved farmland fits the owners tastes perfectly.
Outdoor Patio
From inside and out, we want to beautify your entire home. Here we share another gorgeous view nearby Doylestown. The project itself includes the sitting room from above, and this view from the outdoor patio with stone sitting wall is amazing. Afternoon get togethers with friends couldn’t be in a better place. The bluestone tile flows seamlessly into the sitting rooms own bluestone floor.
